Happy Hands!

Today in 4W we talked about everyone's individual traits and talents. We each drew around our hand and wrote our name inside the palm. Then, we passed the hands around the class for people to write something kind about that person. We swapped the hands randomly so that we had a chance to write about anyone in the class; not just our close friends. It was really nice to read all of the positive comments about ourselves and each other.

Maths Challenge!

Four children from Year Four attended a maths afternoon at West Hill Park School today. They were split into pairs and had to answer lots of really challenging problem solving questions. Both teams did very well, with one of the teams coming second out of 23 teams! Afterwards, they got to enjoy some yummy maths-themed cakes.
